Hi. I'm the shadow man. I upload and share hip-hop albums, because i want to motivate others to do the same. Sure, you can find mainstream albums in a blink of an eye, but there are A LOT of albums, that are worth the listen/support but just aren't available on the internet. I want to believe, that if more hip-hop heads would share their music catalogue, there would be more indie rap available and therefore more intrest in the artists.
I actually looked for P.O.S.'s albums for a year before i finally got a download link. If some dude hadn't shared the album, i wouldn't know about the Doomtree and a lot of good music would stay unknown to me and people that have downloaded albums due to my efforts.
Music should be free, but that doesn't mean that artists shouldn't get paid for their efforts. I strongly support going to events and buing merchandise directly from artists themselves.
